A suburban Milwaukee center, Fountain Square was developed as a 176,000 sf multi-tenant, mid-box center designed to respond to city criteria created to restrict big box projects. The design strategy gave the stores a multi-level appearance, reducing large façades into smaller elements, creating the appearance of individual shops and mixed uses.
